Trash, compost, or recycle service request?

The City of Longmont is upgrading its billing system. Right now, you cannot make online requests to change trash, compost, or recycling services. If you need to update your service, please email serviceworks@longmontcolorado.gov or call 303-651-8416. Please tell us what changes you want to make and for which service (trash, compost, or recycling).

Utility customers:

From January 21-26, 2026, we are updating our utility billing system. During this time, you cannot pay your bill online, in person, or by phone. Our office will stay open during normal business hours to answer questions. Please contact us by email at Utility.Billing@longmontcolorado.gov or call 303-651-8664.

To Report:

• graffiti related concerns, visit the graffiti page graffiti page
• abandoned shopping carts, visit the abandoned shopping carts page
• problems with a street or pedestal light, use the Report a Street or Pedestal Light form

For emergency hazards please call 9-1-1 or contact Longmont Public Safety dispatch. Emergency hazard include:

• missing or damaged Stop sign
• suspected water main break
• flooding
• graffiti in progress
• hazardous materials (chemical dumping, oil spills, etc.)
• street/sidewalk/trail maintenance issues presenting a safety hazard for pedestrians, cyclists, motorists or people using mobility devices
